Cost: only $75/woman | Includes: room with one other lady, dinner Friday evening, snacks at Midnight Madness (MM includes live entertainment featuring a ring designer and a Mary Kay rep doing “satin hands”), and breakfast on Saturday morning. Sign-up at Girlfriends Unlimited now through September 12th. Payments may be made in $25 increments through August 29th. After this date payments must be made in full at the time of sign up. The first deposit of $25 is non-refundable.

In September we will begin a powerful new series “ONE”. Jesus is the ultimate example of what we should measure ourselves against when it comes to sharing our faith. The challenge will be for students to share their faith as Jesus came to share hope with us & do it in the way he did. The bottom line is that is starts with you & you could be the “ONE”.

North Point Kids is partnering with Sweet Sleep to provide life-saving mosquito nets for orphaned and abandoned children in Africa and Haiti. Every week during the month of September we will be collecting a special offering in each of our NPK services. Each mosquito net is only $8, so for every 160 nickels (or 800 pennies, 32 quarters, 80 dimes, etc.) a child raises we can buy a net! There will be a contest between the boys & girls to see how many nets we can buy!

To better serve & equip our growing body of students, beginning October 1, our student ministry SHIFT will split into two groups. Students in grades 7-10 will be in SHIFT Junior Varsity and will meet on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:15. Students in grades 11-12 and college age through 21 will be in SHIFT Varsity. Varsity will meet on Wednesdays from 7:30-8:45.  All Shift groups will continue to meet at the Cedar Creek Clubhouse located at 25775 West 103rd Street , Olathe , Kansas.
